| Pathways to Success Cindy Coffin has been a Toastmaster for five years and is a current member of Lindsay and District Toastmasters Club. Cindy is travelling along the Team Collaboration Path and has achieved Level 3 and working on Level 4. To select her Path, she used the Online Assessment Tool on the Toastmasters International website. Cindy said, “I completed the assessment and went with what it "told" me. For more details on the George Keenan award, click here. | Award Nominations Needed D60 presents the Communication and Leadership award to non-Toastmasters who excel in communication and leadership (former Toastmasters are eligible). We are looking for outstanding members in the community who have distinguished themselves as a leader or spokesperson, contributed significantly to the community and be able to personally accept the award at the District 60 Annual Conference. The George Keenan award is another D60 award, this one is presented to dedicated Toastmasters who, as former D60 Leaders, continue to contribute to the well being of TI and D60. This award honours George Keenan, a long-standing member who contributed to D60 as Parliamentarian and Credentials Chair, District Governor and much more, behind the scenes support. The award was established in 1995 to commemorate George’s 80th birthday and 35 years in Toastmasters. |

After June 30th, 2020, members and/or clubs will not be able to get credit for accomplishments in the current program. | TI Brand Photo Contest Winner Toastmasters International hosted a Brand photo contest and requested Toastmaster clubs from around the world to submit a photo that represents the groups energy and enthusiasm. GM Canada Toastmasters submitted their photo and won for the month of October. With laughs, snacks, and jokes, the Celestica Toastmasters take the allotted time to have some fun by embracing their inner comedian! There is only one requirement for the meeting: Bring a joke! No speeches. No evaluations. All laughs and giggles. |

| It's Speech Contest Time! District 60 Speech Contest Season has begun. Our clubs are actively organizing and conducting their International and Evaluation speech contests. Our Area and Division Directors are actively planning the Area speech contests which will take place from Feb 1- 29th and Division speech contests which will take place between March 1 – 31st. Did you know that if an Area has 4 clubs or less the 1st and 2nd place winners of each club can advance to the Area Contest? Did you know that Areas can hold joint contests?
