Changes and New Options
1. 10/28/25: Along with meeting roles in all levels, advanced levels give you an opportunity to deliver 15-minute sessions from the Successful Club (3), Better Speaker (1) and Leadership Excellence (1) Series. Presenters are free to adapt the material. Specific requirements.
• Added: a checklist at the beginning of each level of non-legacy Paths. (Legacy Paths are unaffected.)
• Check off the Meeting Roles and Workshop(s) before you click on Level Completion. Go to the first item in the Level to see the checklist and workshops. After completing the checklist, scroll to the bottom and click Complete My Requirements.
• The checklist can be ignored if a level was completed and approved prior to October 28, 2025.
• The new requirements will not appear in Base Camp Manager. FAQ.
2. Two ‘new’ Paths. Now Available! (1) The Communication Series: Entertaining + Storytelling includes the pre-Pathways Competent Communication manual, along with The Entertaining Speaker and Storytelling advanced manuals. (2) Basic Training for Toastmasters has assignments based on a combination of meeting roles and prepared speeches, and additional content that will help inspire speech topics and Table Topics prompts. Both are shown as originally presented, contain none of the electives or upgrades of the other 6 Paths, and can be downloaded in PDF form. Both are available for purchase after the completion of Level 1 in any other Path.
3. Explorations, a Level 2 exercise* will allow you to focus on one of the advanced electives; the first release will be “Managing Online Meetings,” an opportunity to perfect the skills needed in an ever-changing environment. You will improve your skills as a Participant, a Presenter, and a Leader. *Works outside of a Path; the club receives DCP credit.
NOTES: (1) While you can complete levels and projects in the order of your choice, each level completion can only be approved and credited once (a) all projects in that level are complete, and (b) all the levels preceding it have been credited.
(2) For those working on more than one Path at a time: Any club in a program year (July 1 – June 30) cannot have more than one of the same level credited by the same member.
