Each year at the Toastmasters International Convention, the International President announces recipients for a Presidential Citation. This citation is presented to members who have shown continual support and dedication to the organization. Recipients of this citation are selected at the sole discretion of the International President.
Nominations for this citation may be sent to Toastmasters International using the online nomination form. April 1 is the annual deadline for submissions.

District 60’s Ross Mackay awarded Presidential Citation in 2020
Ross Mackay, DTM joined Toastmasters in 1991 to develop skills that he could use to strengthen his career as a sales professional. As an engineer from New Glasgow, Scotland, Ross turned his love of people and his flair for communication into a successful career in the industrial training field, which ultimately took him to 34 countries around the world. Today, he has returned to his true love, music, as he entertains and inspires seniors.
As a Toastmaster, Ross’ accomplishments are many. This talented communicator placed 3rd at the World Championship of Public Speaking in 1995 and earned the Accredited Speaker designation from Toastmasters International in 2007.
Ross served District 60 as its District Governor in 2012-2013 and led the team to achieve Select Distinguished District that year. He went on to serve Toastmasters International as the International Director from Region VI in 2014-2016.
Ross continues to serve Toastmasters International and District 60, and in honour of his continued service, was presented in 2010 with the District 60 George Keenan Award for continued service. Ross remains an active Toastmaster and continues to inspire all he meets.
