District 60 Toastmasters
District 60 represents approximately 140 clubs (and 2,800 members) within Toronto, Canada. The district boundaries are:
West: Mississauga border
North: Dixon Rd / Scarlett Rd / Lawrence Avenue
East: Scarborough south of Lawrence Avenue East
South: Lake Ontario
While each member joins a specific club, each club is organized into different Areas, Divisions, and Districts to help members collaborate, communicate, and connect with others. At each of these levels, members can assume leadership roles, to help further develop their professional skills.
There are an estimated 120 districts across the world.
Individual Toastmasters
Our members range from age (with 18 being our youngest), genders, backgrounds, experiences, cultures, nationalities, among other characteristics.
At one of our meetings, you might meet:
- College or university students, IT professionals, teachers, doctors, financial advisors, entrepreneurs, small business owners, managers, leaders, stay-at-home parents, or retirees.
Most definitely you will meet, people interested in improving their communication skills.
Visitors are welcome
Visitors are welcome at any Toastmasters meeting.
Remember that our clubs differ in size, culture, venue, meeting times and lengths. Please visit several, to find the one best suited to your personality, your goals and your lifestyle. Participate and ask questions. Remember, no obligation to join one, unless you are ready.
