This From Speaker to Trainer workshop is presented by Dawn Frail, DTM!

This program is one of Toastmasters International’s educational materials that were developed to provide additional learning opportunities for members in the areas of communication and leadership.
From Speaker to Trainer is designed to assist the participants the skills needed to move from being a public Speaker to being a Trainer who specializes in teaching a specific topic. This highly interactive session will review the following areas:
- Using a gap analysis to determine training objectives
- Creating a lesson plan based on adult learning theories
- Choosing the right training methods
- Applying facilitative techniques
- Evaluating your programs
Dawn has been an active member of the Toastmasters organization for over 25 years. In 2015 she was awarded the George Keenan Award for her lifetime of dedicated service to District 60. In 2017/18 she is serving as the District 60 Club Growth Director, a member of the senior leadership team responsible for 5,000+ members.
She is also a charter member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers.
As an award-winning speaker, facilitator, and trainer, Dawn has spent the past 25 years helping leaders in both Canada and the USA develop their leadership potential and unleash the talent in their teams.
