I became the president of a not for profit organization geared to stimulating the minds of the elderly. As the president of this organization, I spoke at a prestigious college on the first Saturday of each month. The first couple of months were terrifying; somehow, I got through it. I quickly realized that I didn’t have enough ideas I could use to develop different presentations each Saturday. I panicked! Fortunately, one of the club members I befriended, I felt comfortable enough to talk to her about my dilemma. She mentioned that there was a place that could help me with my situation. It was Toastmasters!
