A debate is a friendly, enjoyable and beneficial argument between two teams – an entertaining battle of wits.
Podium Toastmasters meetings have a mini debate every week called As I See It. At this special Debate Night meeting our members use the skills they’ve learned to argue one side of the chosen topic, presenting both prepared and impromptu speeches.
2 Debate teams will present prepared arguments and impromptu rebuttals on this controversial topic: “Does the Trump leadership style move us forward? Yes or No.”
