This workshop is one of Toastmasters International’s educational materials that were developed to provide additional learning opportunities for members in the areas of communication and leadership.
The From Speaker to Trainer workshop is designed to assist the participants the skills needed to move from being a public Speaker to being a Trainer who specializes in teaching a specific topic. This highly interactive session will review the following areas:
- Using a gap analysis to determine training objectives
- Creating a lesson plan based on adult learning theories
- Choosing the right training methods
- Applying facilitative techniques
- Evaluating your programs
