The “Developing Your Leadership Skills” workshop is designed to help participants develop and practice the skills needed to be successful team leaders. Topics will include characteristics of effective teams, team development, motivation, and coaching team members. Teams are everywhere in today’s workplace and the leadership skills presented in this workshop will help participants lead teams more efficiently and effectively.
This will include content from Toastmasters International’s Success Leadership module “Leadership Part II: Developing Your Leadership Skills” as well as the personal experiences of the workshop presenter.
About the presenter:
Kenji Ferguson, P.Eng, PMP, DTM, is a project manager at an engineering company specializing in multidisciplinary building engineering projects, often leading teams consisting of experts from multiple fields of study. Kenji is also an experienced leader in Toastmasters having served on the executives of two different clubs, and is a past Division Director.
