Stephan Dyer, F51 Area Director and D60 Social Media Chair, has experienced great success for his club with MeetUp.
“My experience with MeetUp has been totally satisfactory: we’ve received 5-7 guests per month consistently for the last 3 years! And it takes little to no time: after you’ve set up your profile, you automatically set up recurring meetings for the rest of the year and you’re good to go! No more than 15 minutes. Regarding costs, it’s about $20 per month but totally worth it if you budget for it at the beginning of the year and it ensures club growth in the long run! “
Dawn Frail, District 60 Director, is also a proponent of MeetUp:
“MeetUp is a tool that works well for many clubs, including my own home club. The success has been so consistent we decided to add it to the marketing strategy for the entire District. With a much broader reach, and available to many more clubs in our District, MeetUp is an important driver for success for all. All eligible clubs are encouraged to take advantage of this fabulous benefit of being a member of District 60.”
Free Division MeetUp accounts have been available since September 1. Division E will continue to use their current MeetUp account.
Join your group using your Division Director email address–Division accounts can then be managed by someone other than yourself, and it doesn’t link to your personal MeetUp account. Once you are a member of the group then I can make you Co-organizer. This allows you admin rights to the group and can update it right away.
To find your Division’s group, search for the label in the subject line of this email, replacing the “X” with your Division letter.
Please see your Division Director or Assistant Division Director for assistance. The Division Directors are responsible for managing the Division MeetUp pages. Click here for a document that you can send to your Division Director to add their listings to your Division MeetUp site. It gives a 6-meeting listing limit.
Please be cognizant of the TI Photography: Image Guidelines and be brand compliant. Click here to review the brand guidelines. Please also remember to update your MeetUp page should a meeting be cancelled– so that guests don’t show up to no meeting.
