Various opportunities exist to take on projects at the District level. These roles do not qualify for credit as a role in the Distinguished Toastmaster program, however many of these projects would make excellent High Performance Leadership (HPL) or DTM projects, and educational credit may be earned.

Logistics Manager (LM)
As the LM for the District, you love event planning and have fun organizing logistics associated with the District Executive Committee meetings and other District-level meetings. Helping the meetings run smoothly is your primary concern at approximately 6 events during the year.
Webmaster
This person will maintain the District website. This involves posting district announcements, removing outdated content, and ensuring the website content is current and engaging. If you know WordPress and love to play with websites, this is a perfect role for you.
Website Designer
This person will manage a redesign project of the District 60 Website. Gathering information to help design a highly effective front-end that meets members needs, and efficiently manages the back-end to ensure maximum security are the key deliverables in this project. This person will coordinate a team of people with specialized skills and will work closely with the District Webmaster. This is a short-term project.
Of-The-Year-Awards (OTYA) Chair
Every year District 60 awards four members for their outstanding contribution in a particular area. The Chair would promote the OTYA program, solicit nominations, and oversee the selection process. More information can be found on the OTYA page on this website.
Club Advocate Chair
We want all clubs in District 60 to be strong and viable, so we have created a program called “Club Advocate” to help those clubs that have 13-19 members. Do you want to know more about this role? Contact Club Growth Director Aneeta Pathak.
Exhibit at the HRPA (Organizer)
Plan and organize District 60’s exhibit at the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA) trade show and conference, January 22nd – January 24th, 2020 at the Metro Convention Centre in Toronto. Contact Club Growth Director Aneeta Pathak
Audit Committee Chair
Do you have a flair for financials and an eye for detail? This role plays a critical role in the success of the District and helps to ensure money is spent properly and appropriately. Click here for more information about the duties of the role.
District Alignment Chair
Do you love maps and puzzles? Every year, District 60 will look at the alignment of the clubs inside Areas and Divisions to make sure that we have the best possible structure to serve our members effectively and efficiently.
