Membership Growth – 30 is the new 20

Challenge #1: Grow membership in a new or struggling club in the 2017-18 Toastmasters year.
Award from District 60:
- Mentor a new club to 30 members by June 30 and receive a US$50 gift certificate to Toastmasters International store.
- Coach a struggling club to grow by 8 members in the sooner of 6 months or by June 30 and receive a US$50 gift certificate to Toastmasters International store.
- Advocate for a club to grow by 8 members in the sooner of 6 months or by June 30 and receive a US$50 gift certificate to Toastmasters International store.
Note: Sponsors, mentors and advocates must be officially appointed by the District. The advocate role does not earn educational credit towards the Advanced Leader Silver award.
Challenge #2: Add five new, dual or reinstated members to your club within the following campaign dates.
- Smedley Award campaign – August 1 to September 30
- Talk Up Toastmasters campaign – February 1 to March 31
- Beat the Clock campaign – May 1 to June 30
Award from Toastmasters International:
For each successful campaign, your club will receive a ribbon for your club banner and a special discount code for 10% off your next club order from Toastmasters International store.
Challenge #3: A member who sponsors 5, 10 or 15 new members tween July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018 will receive an award from Toastmasters International. The member’s name and home club number must be listed as the sponsor on the new member application before it is submitted to Toastmasters International.
Award from Toastmasters International:
- Sponsor 5 members and receive a unique blue pin
- Sponsor 10 members and receive a unique burgundy pin
- Sponsor 15 members and receive a discount code for 25% off your next product purchase from Toastmasters International store.
New Club GRowth

Challenge #1: Provide a lead for a new club that charters in the 2017-18 Toastmasters year.
Award from District 60:
- Provide a lead resulting in a club chartering before September 30 and receive a US$100 gift certificate to Toastmasters International store.
- Provide a lead resulting in a club chartering before March 31 and receive a US$75 gift certificate to Toastmasters International store.
- Provide a lead resulting in a club chartering before June 30 and receive a US$50 gift certificate to Toastmasters International store.
- Provide a lead resulting in a kick-off meeting between July 1, 2017 and April 30, 2018 that doesn’t result in a club chartering as above and receive a US$25 gift certificate to Toastmasters International store.
- Sponsor a club that charters in 3 meetings and receive a US$50 gift certificate to Toastmasters International store.
Challenge #2: Area Directors and Division Directors work to charter a new club in District 60 by March 31, plus meet the following criteria. Limit 2 Directors per club charter.
- Actively participate in kick-off teams by volunteering for demonstration-meeting roles and attending 3 meetings to kick of any club.
- Nominate two eligible and available new club sponsors. You can nominate yourself.
- Nominate two eligible and available new club mentors. You can nominate yourself.
Award from District 60:
Earn US$50 gift certificate to Toastmasters International store.
Pathways Trailblazers

Challenge:
- Complete Level 1 by June 30
- Create a 1-minute inspirational video and post on Toastmasters – District 60 Facebook group, other social media channels and your club website. (Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/toastmasters60/) State your name, club and the Path you’re working on. Describe what you’ve learned in the Path and pride in your accomplishment.
- Send evidence of video on social media or website post to PQD@toastmasters60.com to redeem reward.
Individual members will receive a cool, 28-ounce aluminum water bottle with a matte black finish. Only one award per member, even if multiple Levels are completed.
Triple Crown Award

Distinguished Club Program

Challenge: Achieve Distinguished Club status by April 15, 2018
Award from District 60:
- Achieve Distinguished Club status by April 15 and be awarded US$50 gift certificate to Toastmasters International store.
- Achieve Select Distinguished Club status by April 15 and be awarded US$75 gift certificate Toastmasters International store.
- Achieve President’s Distinguished Club status by April 15 and be awarded US$150 gift certificate to Toastmasters International store.
Club Officer Training – Every Club, Every Officer

Challenge: 7 of 7 club officers trained in Round I and Round II of training.
Award from District 60:
Round 1 achieved by August 31 – When all 7 club officers are trained between June 1 to August 31, each officer will receive a cool 28-ounce aluminum water bottle with a matte black finish.
Both Rounds achieved – Clubs’ names will be entered in a draw for a visit by the District TRIO bearing food!
Area Director Club Visits

Challenge #1: Complete 100% of Area Director club visits and input all reports for Round 1 by October 15.
Award from District 60: Receive a ticket to a district-level contest of our choice for you and the president of each club in your area (or their club member designate). In the event of multiple entrants, a draw will be held to determine the winner.
