Goodyear Toastmasters Club invites YOU to come visit us on Thursday October 12th, 6:30 – 9:00 pm at the Etobicoke Civic Centre. This will be a fantastic opportunity to learn about the Toastmasters program and how you can benefit from it to improve your communication and leadership skills.
In addition, you will meet John Andrews, our former club President, who recently competed at the Toastmasters International Convention in Vancouver for the title of World Champion of Public Speaking and finished as the semi-finalist representing District 60 Toastmasters.
This contest started with over 352,000 members in 16,400 clubs in 141 countries around the world. Of the 100 semi-finalists from around the globe who came to Vancouver to compete, John was one of the ten who advanced to the final round and the only Canadian. You will hear the speech which helped advance John to the final round.

8:00 – 8:10 – Break
8:10 – 8:45 – Prepared speeches by club members (including John Andrews)
