Call for Candidates/Nominations to Lead District 60 in the 2025-2026 Toastmasters Year.
Are you ready to step up and lead our District, District 60 Toastmasters?
We are seeking our next leaders for the coming 2025-2026 Toastmasters year (July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026). Do you, or someone you know, want to hone your leadership skills, develop new ones, and have fun with your fellow District Leaders and Toastmasters? Are you ready to lead our district? If you answer yes, then we are asking you to step forward and be nominated/self-nominated for one of the Leader roles.
The deadline for nominations is February 12, 2025
District 60 Toastmasters Elected Roles:
- District Director (1)
- Program Quality Director (1)
- Club Growth Director (1)
- Division Directors (6)
NOTE: For more information, please refer to the role descriptions and/or the role competencies for each of the above roles.
Nomination Eligibility Criteria/Qualifications:
All candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- At the time of taking office:
- District Director must have served at least six (6) consecutive months as Club President and at least 12 consecutive months as a Program Quality Director, Club Growth Director, Division Director, or a combination of these.
- Program Quality Director and Club Growth Director must have served at least six (6) consecutive months as Club President and at least 12 consecutive months as a Program Quality Director, a Club Growth Director, a Division Director, an Area Director, or a combination of these.
- Division Director must have served at least six (6) consecutive months as a member of a District Council.
- An elective officer must have been an active member of a Toastmasters club in good standing for the entire preceding 12 months, or a member for 12 consecutive months within the past three (3) years within the District the officer shall serve.
- A member may only be a candidate for elective office in one (1) District at any given time.
- A member may only serve in one (1) position within any District Executive Committee at any given time.
- A member may not be a candidate for District positions elected by the District Council while actively competing in a current Toastmasters speech contest cycle.
- Candidates shall not serve as speech contest officials or test speakers above the club level.
Service in any of the elected roles (and appointed roles) will earn you a district leadership credit towards your Distinguished Toastmaster award.

Application Deadlines
Deadline to submit applications (no exceptions) for the 2025-2026 elected officer positions is February 12, 2025.
