Challenge A
Members/officers are struggling with Pathways navigation or appreciation.
1. Pick one or two of your Pathways-savvy members to assist members with their issues.
2. Encourage your members to check out Moving Ahead with Pathways.
3. Persuade a lead member to conduct a PPT session (includes Notes). Looking for Pathways presenters? For both, contact Pathways Chair Stephen Schroeder.
4. Keep track of where your members are on their Pathways journey via Base Camp Manager. Members can see/share their level badges under Achievements. They can see all Paths and their projects here.
5. Discover who has received club credit under Education Awards Earned.
6. October 2025 upgrades, including increased meeting-role participation and required Education Series workshops, are explained here. A chart summary is shown here.
Challenge B
Members are asking for more inspiration or guidance for Pathways projects.
This PDF shows most Levels 2-5 projects and links to more guided exercises within each project.
Challenge C
Members are not signing up for meeting roles or doing Pathways project speeches.
1. Remind them why they joined, and that being a Speaker or Helper is an opportunity rather than just a responsibility.
2. Encourage members to set specific goals for completing Pathways levels. Check out Path Checklists.
3. In Pathways, member achievement is acknowledged frequently because recognition increases motivation. Members can share badges (under Achievements). The club can also celebrate and incentivize level completions.
Challenge D
As Vice President, Education, you find your workload gets heavy at times. You can always ask for a volunteer assistant to help you; this is a great way to teach someone about the education program and groom a successor.
