MEMBERSHIP GROWTH – 30 IS THE NEW 20

Membership Challenge #1:

Add five new, dual or reinstated members to your club within the following campaign dates.

  1. Smedley Award campaign – August 1 to September 30
  2. Talk Up Toastmasters campaign – February 1 to March 31
  3. Beat the Clock campaign – May 1 to June 30

Award from Toastmasters International:

For each successful campaign, your club will receive a ribbon for your club banner and a special discount code for 10% off your next club order from Toastmasters International store.

 

Membership Challenge #2:

A member who sponsors 5, 10 or 15 new members between July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019 will receive an award from Toastmasters International. The member’s name and home club number must be listed as the sponsor on the new member application before it is submitted to Toastmasters International.

Award from Toastmasters International:

  1. Sponsor 5 members and receive a unique blue pin
  2. Sponsor 10 members and receive a unique burgundy pin
  3. Sponsor 15 members and receive a discount code for 25% off your next product purchase from Toastmasters International store.

Outstanding Member Award

Challenge for July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019:

  • Sponsor one new member to your club
  • Complete one or more Pathways levels
  • Present and submit the evaluation form for one module from the Better Speaker Series or Successful Club Series

Award from District 60:  Receive Outstanding Member Pin (one pin per Toastmasters year)

 

Pathways Award

Challenge:  Individual member to complete all five levels of a Pathways path between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019.

Award from District 60:  Receive Pathways Pin (one pin per Toastmasters year)

 

TRIPLE CROWN AWARD

Challenge:  Individual member to earn three or more awards between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019.

Award from District 60:  Receive Triple Crown Pin (one pin per Toastmasters year)

 

 

 

 

Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) Award

Challenge:  Individual member to complete the requirements of the Distinguished Toastmaster Award between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019.

Award from District 60:  Receive Distinguished Toastmasters medal at the annual conference

 

Distinguished Recognition 
DISTINGUISHED CLUB PROGRAM

Challenge:  Achieve Distinguished Club status by April 15, 2019

Award from District 60:

  • Achieve Distinguished Club status by April 15 and be awarded US$50 gift certificate to Toastmasters International store.
  • Achieve Select Distinguished Club status by April 15 and be awarded US$75 gift certificate Toastmasters International store.
  • Achieve President’s Distinguished Club status by April 15 and be awarded US$150 gift certificate to Toastmasters International store.
  • BONUS – Achieve Distinguished or greater PLUS a net growth of 5 members all by April 15, and your club will be entered in a draw to win one full-conference registration.

 

CLUB OFFICER TRAINING – EVERY CLUB, EVERY OFFICER

Challenge:  7 of 7 club officers trained in Round I and Round II of training.

Award from District 60:

Round 1 achieved by August 31 – When all 7 club officers are trained between June 1 to August 31, each officer will receive a glass mug imprinted with the Toastmasters logo.

 

 

 

 

 

Plus, clubs that achieved 7/7 in Round I will be entered in a draw to receive a collection of autographed Mark Bowden publications for the club library.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Round 2 achieved by February 28 – When all 7 officers are trained between December 1 to February 28, each officer will receive aleather-look hardcover notebook with elastic closure and bookmark. Features the Toastmasters logo debossed on the front.

 

 

 

 

AREA DIRECTOR CLUB VISITS

Challenge #1:  Complete 100% of Area Director club visits and input all reports for Round 1 by October 15.
Award from District 60:  Receive $100 gift certificate to Toastmasters International store or $100 discount off your full-conference ticket.  In the event of multiple entrants, a draw will be held to determine the winner.
